Moving out of Ch69
Ofcom have confirmed that:
- The 800MHz band including Ch69 will be cleared
- PMSE use will need to relocate from Ch69
- Ch38 will be awarded to the PMSE band manager
- Ch38 will replace Ch69
- Funding will be provided for the move from Ch69 to Ch38 subject to eligibility criteria
- According to current plans, Ch69 will cease to be
available for use in all of the UK from 1 July 2012
except for London, Northern Ireland and the northeast of
England which will cease to be available from 1 October
2012.
